At Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers, Inc. (FFC) we specialize in treating the debilitating conditions known as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome, and unrelenting fatigue. We offer help through a successfully proven treatment protocol and have treated over 12,000 patients nationwide. It is the holistic, integrated, and comprehensive approach to the treatment of underlying physiological factors that differentiates our approach and leads to our ultimate patient success.
Based on our Founder, Bob Baurys' struggle with fibromyalgia and unrelenting fatigue, the goal at FFC is to help others by blending sound medical-based protocols with compassion and understanding to achieve positive outcomes and bring help and hope to those suffering with these debilitating conditions.
To better understand what you are experiencing with your conditions, ask yourself a few questions:
- Do I have a lot of pain in specific body parts without there being any evidence of bruising or swelling?
- If I rate my pain on a scale of 1-10 (10 being severe), would it often be a 6 or above?
- Do I have trouble sleeping three or more nights a week?
- Have I changed my lifestyle or activity level because I do or may feel achy and tired?
- Do I forget things, lose things, or have so much mental confusion that I wonder if it may be the early onset of Alzheimer's disease?
- Am I depressed because I can't figure out what is wrong?
- Do I wake up feeling more tired than when I went to bed?
If you answer "yes" to as many as two of these questions, you may have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome, or unrelenting fatigue. These conditions present differently in each patient, and even differently in the same patient from day to day. Therefore, if you answered "yes" to even one question, you should consult a physician. We've listed some of the possible symptoms below for further self-evaluation.
