Bell's Palsy

My belles palsy appeared one morning when I awoke with severe pain behind my left ear and numbness in my lips. Eventually it got better but I still cannot totally open my right eye. Does anyone have any success stories regarding this, and does anyone notice their affected side is more muscular (seems puffy) than their other side?
