Re: secondary brain cancerMy wife has been diagnosed with secondary brain cancer is currently undergoing treatment. Every other week she is administered injections of chemo directly into her head. She had an Omaya (?) port implanted. She is also being administered a chemo drug in pill form along with Depokote (seizure medication). Recently she has started loosing the ability to hold her body functions. I read on the internet just a few minutes ago of a clinical trial and a doctor from Overlook hospital where the survival rate from secondary brain cancer- with this treatment has been extended to 3 years. Is anyone out here knowledgeable of this or undergoing this clinical treatment?
