Acupuncture with electrical stimulus

Post a new topicby fast and sassy on Thu Jun 26, 2008 3:37 pm

I haven't read every post on every site, but in my net search all I have seen for treatments are drugs or minor brain surgery. I have cervical degeneration and at a head and neck pain clinic several years ago, the doctor inserted acupuncture needles with leads attached to a machine that regulated current to trigger points at the base of my skull. Not only was my neck better, an amazing byproduct of this treatment was that my essential tremors vanished for an entire month. So why do I see absolutely nothing about acupuncture? My only foray into treatment was 10 years ago when I was given stupefying drugs which I quickly decided were not in my best interest. A free face wash with every drink was preferable to being a zombie. So, ... acupuncture anyone?
