TremorsHi,
I was diagnosted with GBS in January 16 of 2007. i was hospitalized during 7 days. my gbs was detected on it's early stages so it does not restrinct me to walk. however i loss a lot of strenght from my legs ( could walk only one floor in stairways) but the part that GBS affected the most was my hands. in fact my GBS started in my urnal nerve. as far as i know about the condition the fact that my gbs started in my hands is extremely rare. after therapy and intense medical care i had been able to recuperate almost all my strenght and independece. i know that GBS leave certain problems as cramps and fatigue. i had suffered both but of this symptomps but they does not bother me because i know they are normal part of the GBS however i have an extrange sequelae to the condition. Tremors my hand started shaking over six month ago and they have not stoped since. at the beginning doctors say it was abscence of strenght but now i have pretty much all my strenght back but my hands still shaking. i have visited two neurologist and a physical neurologists none of them give me a new treatment or explain me why. I know is simply because they had never see a case like mine. i am looking for persons that had suffered tremors as part of their GBS if someone had suffered from this tremors post gbs please answer me. or if someone know something about them i would be thankfully to know about it

Yes I have simil.ar symptoms. I was diagnosed Nov of '07. My hands shake especially when I am trying to do something tedious, such as threading a needle or writing very neatly. My biggest complaint is the tingling in my fingers and feet. My feet feel as if they are "dead". I am afraid I will never be the same. Did you have anything similar. Take care, Bullitt
Re: TremorsYour are just recuperating from GBS. the sensation in your feet and the loss of strenght in them is part of the recuperation. eventually (with the help of therapy) you are going to gain back all your strenght. so a good recomendation is to swim as much as you can. it help me a lot (even i just swim few minutes at a time and only 3 times or less per week). about the tremors i do not know if the would ever desappear. as far as all the neurlogist i had seen they wouldnot. my recomendation is to notify to your neurologist and he would be able to prescribe you. i am using INDERAl ER. the tremors do not desappear but it tame them for at least 12 hours.
I hope yourcan get better stick to the treatment.
Sponsored LinksRe: Tremorshow long since you were first diagnosed with GBS? It has only been about 2 months for me. I am hoping the tremors subside in time. Does the numbness in your feet the ever go away. The tremors are not exactly what I desire, but I think I can learn to live with them. The numbness and tingling in my fingers and feet, are another thing. I don't know If I can stand it, if that doesn't get better.
Thanks and take care.
