The University of Florida Comprehensive Epilepsy Program (UFCEP) is a team of health care providers committed to delivering the best possible care to people with epilepsy and paroxysmal neurologic disorders. Because we serve as a tertiary referral center, many of our patients have epilepsy that is difficult to control (intractable epilepsy). The team is composed of professionals from different professional backgrounds, all with special expertise in various aspects of diagnosing and treating epilepsy. Because we are also committed to advancing the field of epilepsy treatment, active research programs reaching from the clinic to basic science laboratories are also in place. This program is the result of many medical and administrative professionals who have come from across the country to work together to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment for the benefit of people suffering from epilepsy.
